Job summary

Walker & Sloan is seeking a Contracts Manager to join a Bristol-based regional main contractor. You will oversee multiple building projects, coordinating site teams, programmes and client relationships to ensure delivery on time and to brief.

You’ll review plans, manage subcontractors, monitor progress and address risks, with a strong focus on HSE, quality and commercial performance across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering building projects within a main contracting environment.
• Experience managing multiple sites, with knowledge of construction methods and sequencing.
• Strong commercial awareness and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from pre-start planning through to completion, providing resources and direction to teams.
• Review programmes, monitor progress and address risks before milestones.
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers; oversee site standards and health & safety.
• Lead progress meetings and manage client relationships; support snagging and handover.
