Responsibilities

Proactively identify and qualify high-value opportunities (£500k+ to multi-million pound contracts) across target sectors (commercial, retail, hospitality, housing, education, healthcare and leisure).
Research and track opportunities through industry forums, portals, and bodies to ensure timely competition.
Build and maintain senior-level relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 main contractors, asset managers, local authorities, and procurement teams.
Identify and secure places on regional and national public procurement frameworks, managing long-term relationships pre- and post-tender submission.
Collaborate with estimating, commercial, and bid writing teams to develop competitive client-focused proposals.
Lead commercial negotiations to ensure terms align with gross margin targets and risk parameters.
Ensure a seamless transition of secured projects from BD to operations and project management teams.
