• Ability to assess project margins, labour costs, compliance requirements and supply chain risks.
• Strong presenting and pitching skills to executive-level stakeholders.

• Identify and qualify high-value opportunities (£500k+ to multi-million contracts) across target sectors.
• Research opportunities through industry forums, portals, and bodies to ensure timely competition.
• Build and maintain senior-level relationships with Tier 1/2 contractors, asset managers, local authorities, and procurement teams.
• Secure places on regional and national public procurement frameworks and manage long-term relationships.
• Collaborate with estimating, commercial, and bid-writing teams to develop competitive proposals.
• Lead negotiations to ensure margins, risk control and profitable delivery.
• Oversee smooth transition of secured projects to operations and project management teams.
