Overview

Contracts Manager - Fire Protection Projects – London Bridge (with travel to sites) | Full-Time

The Role

As Contracts Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of fire protection contracts - from planning and procurement to delivery and client satisfaction. You'll lead site teams, manage commercial performance, and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.

  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Planning and programming projects to avoid delays
  • Overseeing procurement and reconciliation of materials
  • Managing subcontractor engagement and commercial forecasting
  • Mentoring project managers and supervisors
  • Leading client meetings and reporting on progress
  • Ensuring risk management and safeguarding procedures are followed
  • Promoting service excellence and teamwork across departments
About You

You're a confident, detail-driven leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to get the best out of your team.

Essential experience
  • Proven track record managing multiple construction projects (ideally in passive fire protection)
  • Strong understanding of contract conditions, regulations, and risk management
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and SharePoint
  • Ability to lead teams, resolve issues, and meet tight deadlines
Desirable
  • Familiarity with OneTrace software
  • Knowledge of industry trends and fire safety regulations
