Overview

Contracts Manager - Construction. We are recruiting for an exceptional Regional Contractor who are looking to strengthen their Senior Leadership Team with the recruitment of an experienced, client focused Contracts Manager to oversee new build projects up to £10 million across the industrial, commercial, retail and public sector space.

Responsibilities
  • Be pivotal across live projects, steering everything from tender strategy to snagging.
  • Lead teams, manage stakeholders, and keep schemes to plan and budget
  • Work with estimators to shape tender strategies and logistics
  • Deliver monthly project updates to senior leadership
  • Be the face of the business on-site, liaising with clients and stakeholders
  • Lead DTMs and weekly progress reviews
  • Monitor costs, margins, and KPIs
  • Identify value engineering opportunities
  • Champion health and safety across all sites
  • Manage labour, subcontractors, and suppliers to hit programme targets
  • Coordinate with buyers and planners to keep materials and plant flowing
  • Flag delays early and work with internal teams to keep things on track
  • Record site instructions and maintain documentation
  • Attend cost/value meetings and contribute to commercial strategy
  • Oversee snagging and close-out with precision
