Job description
Role Overview

Service Care Solutions is working with a well-regarded Local Authority based in Lincolnshire, which needs a Contracts and Procurement Solicitor to join their team on a part-time basis.

Position Details
  • Location: Lincolnshire – local authority
  • Umbrella Rate: £50‑£55ph
  • PAYE Inc. Rate: £44.10‑£48.44ph
  • Contract Length: 3 months ongoing – 22 to 25 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
  • Handle a mixed caseload of contracts and procurement law from start to completion, including services contracts, IT contracts, framework agreements, collaborative procurements, grant agreements and subsidy control.
  • Work collaboratively with the Local Authority, its partner District Councils and the recently created Combined County Authority.
  • Support junior members of the team as and when required.
Key Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor (England and Wales) with 3+ years of PQE in Contracts and Procurement law.
  • Strong public sector experience within a Commercial Legal team.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
