Role purpose: Act as a senior specialist member of a social work team, delivering outstanding services to children and families. Responsibilities include safeguarding children, promoting welfare, and discharging the Authority’s responsibilities under the Children’s Act 1989 & 2004. Maintain high standards of practice and adhere to the Division’s values and strategic objectives. Seek opportunities to enhance service delivery and support the development of the team’s professional capability. Serve as practice lead, providing mentoring and coaching to newly qualified social workers and students.
