A leading healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Consultant Urological Surgeon with a specialist interest in Bladder Cancer & Robotic Surgery. This role involves supporting the development of the cystectomy and bladder cancer service, performing both open and robotic surgeries, and managing non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer. The position is based in Manchester, with opportunities for multidisciplinary collaboration and innovative research. Applications are invited for this special and exciting opportunity to help develop the Urological Cancer Service at Manchester University Foundation Trust (MFT), one of the largest Trusts in the country.
This role is a substantive Consultant Urological Surgeon with a specialist interest in Bladder Cancer & Robotic Surgery who will support and develop our cystectomy and bladder cancer service, starting with 10 posts.
The post will be primarily based at Wythenshawe Hospital and Withington Community Hospital, with provision for a dual console Da Vinci Xi robot. Dual‑site working may be considered after subsequent job planning.
