A prominent health board in Wales is seeking a Consultant in Spinal Surgery for its Spines Surgical Team. This full-time role involves covering a 1 in 6 on-call rota for spinal emergencies and performing complex independent surgeries. The ideal candidate should hold an FRCS or equivalent and have advanced experience in spinal surgery, with a strong background in handling complex trauma cases. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from £110,240 to £160,951 per annum, with flexibility in working arrangements.
Consultant in Spinal Surgery, part of the Spines Surgical Team within Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. The role has been created to cope with increasing demand for degenerative adult spinal pathology and major trauma. At present the role will not include paediatric deformity but there is potential for future development.
