A leading healthcare provider is seeking a full-time Consultant in Anaesthetics at Ipswich Hospital. The role involves clinical responsibilities across major specialties including general/urology and obstetric anaesthesia. We are inviting applications for a full time Consultant in Anaesthetics based at Ipswich Hospital, part of East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT).
This post has been developed as we expand our permanent workforce as well as bring new colleagues into our team following retirements. We are a strong and supportive department and are looking for colleagues who can bring their own skills and attributes to the department. The initial job plan will involve a variety of specialties, particularly major general/urology, orthopaedics/trauma surgery.
We are particularly interested in recruiting colleagues with significant interest and experience in 1) regional anaesthesia and anaesthesia for orthopaedic surgery, and 2) obstetric anaesthesia. Most importantly we are seeking dynamic and collaborative colleagues who have a broad based clinical experience relevant to a busy DGH and interests in both quality improvement and education.
