Job summary

MCR Property Group is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial and financial delivery of a Bedford-based project. You will lead cost reporting, budgeting, tendering and procurement, as well as final accounts from inception to completion.

The role is site-based with regular valuations and collaboration with Project Managers and Directors. The successful candidate will have at least three years of experience across multiple project types, deep knowledge of procurement processes,

Qualifications

• Three years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor across various project types.
• Experience in developer, main contractor, or subcontractor environments.
• Experience across pre- and post-contract stages including cost plans and estimates.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly cost reporting and financial forecasting.
• Manage contracts and subcontract packages; oversee variations.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and fellow Quantity Surveyors on commercial strategy.
• Support financial control across the project portfolio; site-based with valuations.
