Construction Project Manager | Retail Fit Out | Construction Jobs Hertfordshire

Up to £70,000 plus car allowance, mileage, pension and annual bonus (discretionary)

We're looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the safe, efficient and profitable delivery of multiple construction and retail / shop fitout projects from inception through to completion.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the full project lifecycle pre‑construction, delivery and post‑completion.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, managing expectations and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Plan, monitor and coordinate resources including labour, materials and subcontractors.
  • Oversee compliance with all relevant Health & Safety legislation, industry standards and best practice.
  • Produce construction programmes, method statements and ensure drawings and design info are delivered on time.
  • Work closely with commercial teams to support cost reporting, variations and final accounts.
  • Drive quality control, minimise snagging and ensure robust site administration processes.
  • Lead review meetings, manage risk, identify resource issues and implement improvements.
