Job description

Job title: Construction Manager- Rail Civils

Type: Contract

Location: Birmingham

Rate: Dependant on experience

Role

You will be expected to co-ordinate activities of construction and associated works working in a client sided capacity; working to budget and in line with all relevant standards, processes and procedures. The will be a works delivery focused role on buildings and civils

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Undertaking the role of construction manager for project
  • Controlling all on site technical activities client side
  • Rail engineering co-ordination across sites and work packages
  • Office based co-ordination

Essential requirements:

  • Comprehensive understanding of rail engineering
  • Safety Management training.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of structures standards, processes and procedures.
  • Client sided based work previously
