An international engineering firm based in the UK is looking for a Senior Construction Manager to oversee project delivery while ensuring safety and compliance. The role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage subcontractors effectively. Essential qualifications include a degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering and relevant safety accreditations. The position involves overseeing progress, conducting site inspections, and leading client meetings, contributing to high-quality infrastructure projects.
As a Senior Construction Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering projects safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with planning and engineering and delivery teams to deliver against a programme of work, monitor progress, and communicate within project teams. A big part of the role is ensuring safety remains a top priority, driving zero tolerance for unsafe practices, and leading meetings to review safety, quality and progress. You will also support innovation and continuous improvement by adopting new ideas and best practice across the project. You will have responsibility for overseeing sub‑contract teams ensuring the delivery of the cable route for the substation connections.
