Construction Lecturer and Assessor

Role Information: Reference: REQ001357, Location: SGS Horizon 38, FTE Salary: Up to £34,416.00 (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience), Contract Type: Permanent, Full time, Working Hours: 37 hours per week.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Support recruitment of construction apprenticeships.
  • Responsibility for a cohort of construction apprentices.
  • Support the continued improvement of SGS Apprenticeships.
  • Develop apprentices’ knowledge, skills and behaviours.
  • Liaise with employers.
  • Observe and be responsible for the College Health and Safety policies, including taking reasonable care to avoid injury to themselves or others.
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
  • A relevant trade qualification NVQ and/or Apprenticeship in Construction: Brick, Plastering, Maintenance, Groundworks, Site Supervisor.
  • Relevant experience working onsite in the Construction Industry.
  • Assessor Qualification.
  • Teaching Qualification.
