Role Details :

We are looking for a seasoned Construction Director to lead and coordinate a team of construction managers on a major EPC project in Glasgow. This role covers the entire project lifecycle—from engineering through to client handover—and requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in nuclear, oil & gas, or similar highly-regulated industries.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Lead and manage a team of construction managers across all phases of the project.
  • Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of construction activities in line with EPC standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and client teams to ensure seamless project integration.
  • Drive performance, productivity, and continuous improvement across construction operations.
  • Provide strategic input and leadership during project reviews and client engagements.
Key Requirements :
  • Proven experience managing large-scale EPC construction projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Background in Nuclear (preferred), oil and gas or other highly regulated industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects from engineering phase to client handover.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications (eg PMP, NEBOSH, SMSTS) are advantageous.
