Job summary

Workshop Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Executive for a construction supply business in Andover. You will combine new business development with account management, nurture existing customers, and drive growth by increasing spend and moving clients through tiers.

The role involves making outbound calls, building a clear pipeline, managing a portfolio of accounts, following up quotations, and maintaining CRM records. Office hours Mon-Fri with potential hybrid work.

Responsibilities

• Qualify prospects and arrange appointments
• Build and maintain a clear pipeline with defined next steps
• Manage a portfolio of existing accounts and develop customer spend
• Follow up quotations and identify additional sales opportunities
• Monitor accounts at risk of lapsing and implement retention activity
• Build strong relationships with prospects and existing customers
• Monitor competitor activity and identify regional growth opportunities
• Maintain accurate CRM records and produce performance reports
