Job summary

AWD online is seeking a confident Business Development Executive to drive new business and nurture prospects in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. You will generate opportunities, perform outbound prospecting, and move deals through the sales cycle using CRM, AI and sales technology to improve conversion.

Based in Bedfordshire with hybrid working, the role offers a generous uncapped commissions scheme, benefits and room to grow into a senior sales position.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in business development or related role in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Experience in HR, people services, technology, SaaS, compliance or regulated services.
• Confident in communicating by phone, video and email.
• Strong listening and questioning to identify customer needs.
• Proficient with CRM systems to manage opportunities.
• Organised and proactive with multiple opportunities.
• Motivated, energetic and customer-focused.
• Willing to undergo BS7858 background screening.

Responsibilities

• Generate New Business: respond to inbound enquiries, outbound prospecting and support campaigns
• Build Prospect Relationships: understand needs and present solutions
• Lead Discovery Calls: ask effective questions and identify opportunities
• Qualify Prospects: assess fit before progression
• Manage the Pipeline: keep CRM records up to date
• Use Sales Technology: leverage CRM and AI tools to improve conversion
• Collaborate With the Team: share insights and handover opportunities
