Job summary

Workshop Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Executive for the construction sector in Andover. The role blends new business development with account management to grow the customer base and increase spend.

You'll make outbound calls, nurture prospects, manage a sales pipeline, follow up quotations and protect customer relationships while aiming to grow market share across the region. The position is full-time with a hybrid option.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proven ability to develop new business and nurture relationships.
• Experience in construction sector is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Qualify prospects and arrange appointments.
• Maintain a clear pipeline with defined next steps.
• Manage a portfolio of existing accounts and grow spend.
• Follow up quotations and identify opportunities.
• Monitor accounts at risk of lapsing and implement retention activity.
• Build relationships with prospects and customers.
• Monitor competitor activity and identify regional growth opportunities.
• Maintain CRM records and produce performance reports.
