What will you be doing?

As a Configuration Technician, you will play a key role in preparing, staging, and configuring IT equipment to meet customer-specific requirements. This position involves hands‑on technical work, attention to detail, and adherence to quality standards to ensure smooth deployment and shipment of hardware.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and stage equipment for processing, including boxing/unboxing and shifting racks.
  • Perform physical audits of equipment and accessories to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Label products and cables, and apply asset tags for proper identification.
  • Configure and integrate hardware components into network devices according to customer specifications.
  • Install, upgrade, and test various equipment such as routers, switches, servers, wireless, voice, and video systems.
  • Execute functional hardware tests and troubleshoot errors when required.
  • Handle cabling, crating preparation, and other shipment-related tasks.
  • Capture logs and documentation for quality checks and compliance.
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma/ITE certification holder
  • Ability to use a handheld computer
  • Physically fit, ability to lift 20 to 25 kg
  • Good communication skills
  • Familiar with basic Excel
  • Able to work on different WMS systems
  • Experience in Lab and Warehouse environment preferred
