Job description

GLL is looking for a Customer Service Advisor at Leatherhead Leisure Centre. If you have a passion for people and the ability to deliver first-class customer service, this is your chance to be part of one of the largest leisure groups in the UK.

As a Customer Service Advisor, you'll make a difference to every person who walks through our centres, whether through a warm welcome or by selling memberships to enhance their lifestyle.

Our Customer Service Advisors respond to enquiries and convert them into memberships. They are often the first point of contact for customers, answering phones, handling transactions, addressing queries, and participating in community outreach projects. Your focus will be on maintaining the highest level of customer service at all times.

What you need:
  • A strong focus on customer service
  • Passion and personality
  • Knowledge of health and safety
  • Great team player
  • Good IT, literacy, numerical, and communication skills
  • Some experience in administration
What you’ll do:
  • Be the first point of contact for customers
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Handle transactions, including setting up direct debits and cash handling
  • Manage membership enquiries and sales
  • Set up equipment
  • Support your team daily, including preparing studios, gyms, or sports halls, and maintaining the cleanliness of the centre
