Compliance Officer (25/492)

£26,239 FTE (£21,274.86 pro rata per annum)

30 hours per week

Base to be determined by successful candidate at any of our North Bank Sites (Beverley, Bridlington or Scarborough) with travel to other sites

About the role

The MIS department (North Bank) are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team. This is a complex and diverse role, in which you will work closely with the Vocational Trainers, Programme Leaders and the Leadership Management to provide high quality and responsive administrative support.

Duties
  • Running rigorous audit checks on all data systems
  • Ensuring audit checks are planned and conducted routinely and within agreed timescales
  • Reviewing controls, processes, and procedures for compliance
  • Safe collection and safe storage of all auditable documents as required by external funding agencies.
  • Participating in the internal & external audits.
About the person

The successful candidate will have experience in a compliance role or similar, ideally from within an education setting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.

Candidates should also have:
  • Level 2 Business Administration
  • Experience of analysing data
  • ICT competency
