We are working with a rapidly growing international legal practice to hire a Compliance Assistant.

In this role, you will join a collaborative team of specialists to provide vital support to a global network of lawyers, ensuring the firm excels in its regulatory obligations. The firm is looking for an individual with at least one to two years of experience in law firm compliance or litigation who is eager to contribute to a best-in-class support infrastructure.

The responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the resolution of risk and compliance queries while collaborating closely with accounts and business support functions.
  • Supporting the delivery of risk and compliance training, including induction sessions for new joiners.
  • Conducting file audits and assisting with initial investigations into compliance matters.
  • Maintaining and updating internal registers to ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Providing administrative support for compliance management, specifically regarding code of conduct queries, complaints, or claims.
  • Monitoring and actioning requests within the client and matter onboarding inbox as required.
  • Assisting the Director of Risk and Compliance with day-to-day project tasks and international support initiatives.
