Job description

We are working with a leading offshore law firm to hire a Compliance Analyst to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your compliance career!

In this role, you’ll support the client onboarding and due diligence process, ensuring the firm meets its regulatory obligations and maintains robust standards under AML/CFT legislation. You’ll work closely with Partners, Fee Earners, and senior compliance colleagues to gather, review, and verify client information, carry out research, and keep key systems and records up to date.

Qualifications

The firm is looking for someone with experience in a CDD or AML role, ideally with at least two years’ exposure to onboarding or compliance operations within a professional services environment. An ICA qualification would be an advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Administering the client take‑on process and determining required due diligence in line with firm policies
  • Verifying client identity documentation and conducting open‑source and database searches
  • Reviewing existing due diligence to ensure accuracy, completeness, and relevance
  • Liaising with Partners, Fee Earners, and clients to clarify matter scope and CDD requirements
  • Preparing due diligence profiles and supporting submissions to senior compliance stakeholders
  • Maintaining data management systems, electronic filing, and statistical records
  • Supporting senior compliance team members and contributing to compliance‑related projects
