Overview

Libertatem Healthcare Group is seeking a Female Complex Care Assistant to support a child 1:1 during overnight shifts in Ilkley. The role involves providing both medical and emotional support to ensure the child feels safe, included, and empowered, both at home and when attending school.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver tailored, person-centred care, including personal and medical care during night shifts.
  • Escort the child to and from school when required.
  • Monitor and support clinical needs with full training.
  • Liaise with family members and care professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Essential Clinical Experience

We welcome candidates with experience or willingness to be trained in:

  • Tracheostomy care
  • Suctioning (oral, tracheal, and nasopharyngeal)
  • Enteral & PEG feeding
  • Oxygen therapy

About the Role

As a Complex Care Assistant, you\'ll play a vital part in a young person\'s life—providing both medical and emotional support. Your role will ensure they feel safe, included, and empowered, both at home and when attending school.

Due to the location and school escort duties, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

Dates and Location

Location: Ilkley • Shift Pattern: 21:30 – 06:30 (3 nights per week) • Hourly Rate: £14.00 • Must be flexible to cover weekdays, weekends, annual leave, and sickness.

Important Notes

There is a dog in the home, so candidates must be comfortable around pets.
