HC-One Limited in Wetherby is seeking a part-time Kitchen Assistant to support care home residents with nutritious meals. You will assist with meal prep, serve meals with kindness, maintain kitchen hygiene, and help with stock monitoring. A willingness to work towards NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation is expected.

You’ll join a compassionate team in a role offering training, development, and a supportive environment with flexible shifts and DBS/PVG checks paid where applicable.

Competenze

• Kitchen experience in a care home or similar setting is desirable.
• Ability to follow recipes and record information accurately.
• Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards.

Mansioni

• Assist with meal preparation under supervision and instructions.
• Serve meals with warmth and respect in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and on surfaces.
• Monitor and record food storage temperatures and stock rotation.
• Support new team members and help ensure a spotless kitchen after busy shifts.
