HC-One Ltd. is hiring a Kitchen Assistant for either 20 or 30 hours per week, with shifts from 8:00 to 18:30 in our care homes. You’ll help prepare and serve nutritious meals, support dietary needs, and maintain kitchen hygiene. NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation or willingness to work towards it is required.

Competenze

• Some kitchen experience and a real passion for helping others.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow recipes and record information accurately.

Mansioni

• Assist with meal preparation under the direction of the Chef or Cook.
• Serve meals with warmth and respect in a timely and friendly manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including equipment and surfaces.
• Monitor and record food storage temperatures (fridges, freezers, etc.).
• Support stock rotation and ensure ingredients are properly stored.
• Show new team members how to safely use kitchen equipment.
• Wash up and keep the kitchen spotless after busy periods.
