Job summary

Warwick District Council is seeking a proactive, compassionate and organised individual to provide practical support to residents living in temporary accommodation. You will engage with residents, collaborate with housing colleagues, landlords and external agencies to address needs and promote dignity and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing, homelessness, tenancy support, or working with vulnerable individuals is desirable.
• Good communication, interpersonal and IT skills; ability to maintain records and prepare reports.
• Commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical support to residents living in temporary accommodation.
• Work with housing colleagues, landlords and external agencies to help residents maintain accommodation.
• Manage a varied caseload, prioritise competing demands and work under pressure.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate records.
