Job summary

East of England Co-op Funeral Services is looking for a compassionate Funeral Co-ordinator to support clients and families with funeral services, pre-payment plans, masonry and related services. You will work closely with Funeral Directors and third parties to deliver personalised arrangements in line with client wishes.

The role involves administration, community engagement, and providing bereavement support information, with a flexible approach to shifts and local travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional service to clients advising on funeral services, pre-payment plans, masonry and ancillary services
• Coordinate with Funeral Director and third parties to ensure services meet client wishes
• Complete all administration tasks including financial and statutory procedures
• Provide information about bereavement support services
• Ensure branch standards, service quality and compliance
• Coordinate chapel visits and engage with local communities and stakeholders
