Job summary

Co-op Funeralcare is hiring a Mobile Funeral Arranger on a 12 month fixed term contract. £13.47 per hour, part time 18.75 hours weekly. The role covers 16 branches across Nottinghamshire and requires a full UK driving licence to visit families and manage arrangements.

No prior funeral industry experience is required as training is provided. You will travel, support clients, maintain a respectful environment, and use digital systems to handle documentation and invoicing.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and vehicle access.
• Ability to work independently and travel to meetings.
• Clear written and spoken communication.
• Numeracy and basic cash handling, discounts, invoicing.
• Attention to detail and regulatory compliance.
• Good IT skills with various devices.
• Passion for delivering great service and relationships.
• High empathy, discretion and care.
• Ability to perform physical duties with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Travel to meet clients and build community relationships.
• Support clients in person and over the phone; arrange family visits.
• Keep funeral home clean, safe, and welcoming; report maintenance issues.
• Use devices to manage client documentation and invoicing.
• Refer regulated work to the Funeral Plan Arrangers team.
• Assist with manual handling and care of the deceased.
• Update client management applications with accurate data.
