Job summary

CO-OP Funeralcare is hiring to support families with compassionate funeral services. The role involves handling client inquiries, arranging visits, and maintaining a respectful, welcoming funeral home environment. Training is provided and the team values empathy, accuracy, and strong communication.

You will work with digital systems for documentation and invoicing, and may assist in the care of the deceased under proper training and safety standards. Competitive salary and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• No prior funeral industry experience required; full training provided.
• You will be supported with ongoing training and development.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and the community.
• Support clients in person and over the phone, arranging family visits and answering questions.
• Ensure funeral home is clean, safe, and welcoming; report maintenance issues.
• Utilize digital systems to manage client documentation, funeral arrangements, and invoicing.
• Refer regulated work (funeral plans) to Funeral Plan Arrangers.
• Assist in care and preparation of the deceased as trained.
