Job summary

Co-op Funeralcare in Stowmarket is seeking a Funeral Arranger to join our compassionate team. This part‑time role involves arranging family visits, coordinating funeral plans, and handling client documentation with care.

You’ll work 15 hours per week (Monday and Tuesday) and receive a competitive hourly rate plus benefits, pension, and staff discounts. Full training is provided, with emphasis on dignity, respect, and compliant procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to handle cash and basic data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with records.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and the community.
• Support clients in person and over the phone, arranging family visits and answering questions.
• Keep the funeral home clean, safe and welcoming, report maintenance issues.
