Job summary

CPJ Field & Company Ltd, a family-owned funeral company, is seeking a Funeral Arranger/Administrator to join Heritage & Sons Funeral Directors in Winslow. The role is full-time (39 hours per week) and involves supporting the Funeral Director to arrange and plan funeral services with care and discretion.

You will work in a small team, attend full training, and duties include answering calls, banking, card payments, and general admin while ensuring a welcoming funeral home environment.

• Computer literate with MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Follow the CPJ Field way of funeral arranging; full training provided.
• Answer calls politely; take, record and forward messages.
• Accompany the family to Chapel of Rest.
• Sale of monumental masonry and pre-paid funerals (training provided).
• Daily banking of monies received for funeral accounts.
• Process card payments.
• General office admin including photocopying and filing.
• Keep the Funeral Home clean, tidy and welcoming.
• Attend full day training sessions; travel may be required.
