A personal assistant opportunity in the UK offers support for daily tasks and encourages independence for individuals with disabilities. The role includes providing companionship, assisting with shopping and cooking, and requires strong interpersonal skills and reliability. A warm and proactive attitude is essential, and candidates must be comfortable around pets. Disability confidence is prioritized in the hiring process.
I have Autism so I can sometimes find day to day life a little challenging and new and different situations can be a little confusing. I also have epilepsy but this certainly doesn't impact my day-to-day life in any way and certainly doesn't define me as a person - most people don't even know and it doesn't stop me doing anything! Having my own PA who enjoys spending time with me, supporting and guiding me when needed, will really help me to overcome any difficulties I might have.
I really enjoy swimming, walking, going to the cinema, listening to music and singing but I am sure that here are lots of other things that I would also enjoy if given the opportunity. I really want to be busy and be able to enjoy life in my community like any other young person.
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
