An organization supporting individuals with disabilities is looking for a Complex Care Support Worker to assist a gentleman living independently in Throop. The role involves providing person-centered support in daily activities, including personal care and community engagement. Candidates should possess a full UK driving license and a compassionate demeanor. This position offers 32 hours per week with shifts between 7 AM to 10 PM, inclusive of weekends and sleep-ins. We are recruiting for a complex care support worker to join our adult services team to support a gentleman living in the Throop area. Please note: Autism Unlimited does not provide visa sponsorship. To be considered for this role you must hold a Full UK driving licence, however access to your own vehicle is not essential.
You’ll be supporting David, a man who lives independently in his own home in Throop. David communicates verbally using short phrases and also uses PECS cards on a communication board to help plan his day and express his needs and choices. As part of David's dedicated support team, you'll help him enjoy a calm, structured, and meaningful daily life. Activities you may support include:

32 hours per week. This would be a mixture of shifts between 7am – 10pm – Monday – Sunday. This role would include alternate weekends and sleep‑ins (sleep‑ins come with an additional payment).
