Essential Requirements:Your own car, availability on alternateweekends & a Right to work in the UK

Salary:£12.60 plus paid travel and wait time

Shift Pattern:Mornings -08:15- 14:15and/orEvenings: 16:30 - 22:30

Location:Brough or Pocklington & surrounding areas (depending on your location)

Contract Type:16 or 25Guaranteed Hour contact

Home Instead Pocklington and Broughprovide support to people in the local community to enable them to remain happy and independent in their own homes for as long as possible.

Job Description

Being a Care Assistant is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same. Withminimum 1 hour care visits and client matching, you have the time to provide high quality, person-focused homecare that is tailored to the individuals need.

You will support our client by:

  • Companionship -everything from a chat over a cup of tea to playing a game of scrabble
  • Accompaniment -to appointments or a spot of shopping
  • Meal preparation -a sandwich, or a home cooked meal
  • Light housekeeping -a run around with the hoover or a spot of dusting
  • Personal Care- because it'simportant to us all
