A leading children's charity in the UK is looking for a Community Short Breaks Worker to support children and young people with disabilities. You will help provide safe and enjoyable community-based experiences. Ideal candidates will demonstrate flexibility and a passion for play work, with experience or qualifications in health and social care being advantageous. This part-time position offers professional training and a supportive environment to ensure positive outcomes for children and their families.
Role: Community Short Breaks Worker
Salary: £24,309.07 per annum (£12.60 per hour)
Location: Rhydyfelin, Rhondda Cynon Taf
Contract/Hours: Permanent, Part Time - 16 hours per week – Tuesday to Saturday between core hours of 09:00 and 22:00 (3 hours per session)

RCT Community Short Breaks allows children to enjoy a safe, meaningful experience and an opportunity has arisen for Community Short Breaks Workers to join our dedicated, friendly, warm and professional team.
The Community Short Breaks Project provides support to children and young people with disabilities. This includes support to access community-based activities on a 1:1 basis, small groups, activities at the community and project base.
We are ready to support and develop you to build on the experience you already have. We would love to hear from you if you want to help change lives by working at the forefront of child-centered care.
