Job summary

A leading healthcare services provider is looking for a Community Support Worker in Chelmsford. This pivotal role involves triaging safeguarding concerns and ensuring effective responses to protect adults at risk. Candidates should have experience in social care, excellent communication skills, and an understanding of safeguarding legislation. The position requires weekly office attendance and offers a salary range of £25,395 to £32,131 per annum.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a social care or safeguarding setting, ideally with adults at risk.
• NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or equivalent qualification is desirable.
• Understanding of safeguarding legislation and guidance, including the Care Act 2014.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming safeguarding concerns and determine appropriate next steps.
• Apply a strengths-based approach to assess risk and gather relevant information.
• Liaise with internal teams and external agencies to ensure coordinated safeguarding.

Skills

Experience working in a social care or safeguarding setting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education
