A healthcare provider in Whitby seeks a kind and experienced Senior Community Practitioner for a part-time role. You will hold a caseload of patients, deliver care autonomously, and support junior team members. This role offers the chance to work with a multidisciplinary team, providing mental health services to adults across the Whitby area. Candidates must be registered with the relevant governing body and possess a minimum of 18 months post-qualifying experience.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a kind and experienced Senior Community Practitioner (part time – 30 hours) to join our friendly and dedicated colleagues at The Anchorage Clinic in Whitby. Whitby and the Ryedale Integrated Community Team provide mental health services to adults across the Whitby area. The Anchorage is a short walk from the main town and harbour, where there are many local shops and cafes. As a member of the team you will work alongside a multidisciplinary group that includes Registered Nurses, Social Workers, Psychologists and Psychology Assistants, Consultant Psychiatrists, medics, Pharmacists, and team support staff.
• Hold a caseload of patients and deliver care to meet identified needs autonomously, with MDT support. • Participate in the duty worker rota and support the patient journey from referral to discharge. • Provide support to junior team members and offer an excellent learning environment for students placed with the team.
• Registered with the relevant governing body. • Minimum 18 months of post‑qualifying experience, including sign‑off of appropriate preceptorship or competency framework.
