Are you a passionate and experienced Registered Children’s Nurse looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of babies and their families? We are excited to invite applications for a Community Neonatal Nurse to join our dedicated Neonatal Community Liaison Team based at Ninewells Hospital.


This is a unique and fulfilling role where you’ll support neonates and their families in the community, helping to ensure safe and effective transitions from hospital to home. You’ll work closely with the wider neonatal team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care tailored to each family’s needs.


What You’ll Do:


  • Deliver specialist nursing care to neonates in their homes across Tayside

  • Support families through education, health promotion, and emotional care

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans

  • Contribute to service development and quality improvement

  • Take responsibility for a defined caseload and support junior staff


What We’re Looking For:


  • Registered Children’s Nurse (UK NMC Part 1, 8 or 12)

  • Previous post-registration experience

  • Experience in acute and/or community settings is desirable

  • Neonatal QIS qualification is advantageous

  • Commitment to professional development and community nursing
