Job summary

Inspire: Culture, Learning & Libraries is recruiting two Information Services Development Workers to deliver information services and support for those in financial crisis across Nottinghamshire. The roles involve developing resources, training staff, and working with local partners to expand access and resilience.

The positions require a degree in librarianship or related fields, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel across libraries and community venues.

Qualifications

• Degree in librarianship/information science/community development.
• Knowledge of identifying, engaging with and developing audience groups.
• Experience planning and delivering projects, events and activities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver information and advice days across the library network.
• Support and train library staff to offer a 'front door' to services for those in financial crisis.
• Assist clients to access online forms and ICT support where required.
• Engage with communities and stakeholders to provide regular information and advice drop-ins.
