A leading water utility company in England is seeking a Local Action Coordinator to join their Corporate Affairs team. This role is pivotal in engaging communities with the Environmental strategy through effective communications and events. Ideal candidates will possess experience in external communications, engage effectively with stakeholders, and be comfortable managing multiple priorities. We have an opportunity to join the Corporate Affairs team as our Local Action Coordinator. This role plays an important role in helping our communities understand our Environment strategy through impactful communications, events and engagement activities. Overall, this will ensure we leave a lasting and positive impression with our communities.
If you have a background in external communications or hands-on experience working in community-focused environmental roles, we’d love to hear from you.
You’ll be comfortable delivering events, acting as an ambassador for your organisation. This includes driving meaningful engagement and building strong relationships. Therefore, you’ll use your previous experience working with stakeholders like local councillors and customers.
You’ll be experienced translating complex information into an easy-to-understand format across digital and transitional platforms. Previous experience in digital media, photography or video would be valuable.
Whilst you’ll be part of the wider corporate affairs team, you’ll be confident in both group and individual environments, tailoring your communication depending on your audience.
This is a fast-paced team, requiring the successful candidate to manage competing priorities whilst maintaining a positive approach. This means you’ll use your organisation skills to ensure the success of the Local Action Campaign.
