Job summary

A hospitality establishment in Scotland is seeking a passionate Commis Chef to join their kitchen team. You will work closely with the Head Chef and colleagues to deliver high-quality dishes and maintain cleanliness. Our Commis Chefs are an important part of our kitchen teams, working with the Head Chef, kitchen and Front of House teams to deliver great hospitality and experiences to our guest and the team.

The Commis Chefs are passionate about their craft and all aspects of delivering great plates of food. With responsibility for all aspects of their section to deliver high quality standard of food across the restaurant, functions and other food outlets.

Working hard within the team the Commis Chefs will deliver consistent standards of cleanliness, tidiness and food service as well as be an engaged and motivated member of the team. Our Commis Chefs can be found working on any section in the kitchen and always learning from the experienced members of the team. They will start the day setting up their station and end it cleaning everything down.

Skill and experience are necessary to do this job, but more than anything else, we want someone who shares our vision of a hospitality industry that is better and sees themselves being part of the team who can make this happen!

We pay a fair wage – with our hourly pay being higher than the Government rates, at a minimum. Your earnings will be further enhanced by our 10% service charges and other tips that guests leave – with 100% of tips being retained by the team.
