Job summary

Volter in London is seeking a Commercial & Pricing Associate to own the day-to-day tender requests, price and structure them, and respond to partners quickly to win deals while protecting margins. Speed and accuracy are essential as you manage multiple live tenders daily and maintain strong CRM hygiene.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial, pricing, trading or analytical role, ideally in fast, high-volume environments.
• Strong numerical ability and commercial judgement.
• Proven ability to handle high-volume, deadline-driven work without sacrificing quality.
• Experience with live deal flow, tenders or structured products.
• Excellent communication and partner management skills for fast-moving conversations.
• Ability to balance speed and accuracy in decision-making.
• High ownership and ability to operate autonomously within guardrails.
• Hands-on pricing, negotiation or closing live business.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day import tenders/RFQs end-to-end: triage, price, structure and respond within SLA.
• Handle a high volume and frequency of deals per day while maintaining quality.
• Develop pricing intuition across HH/bespoke contracts to win deals when appropriate.
• Incorporate commercial feedback to hit growth and margin targets.
• Manage deal pipeline, turnaround times and win rates; refine pricing based on market conditions.
