Job summary

Online Direct is seeking a Sales Support Executive to join our Pricing team in Northampton. The role supports end-to-end pricing, tenders and supplier engagement for our bespoke portfolio, collaborating with Account Managers and suppliers to deliver pricing accurately within timescales.

You will manage pricing requests, tenders and contract requirements, build strong supplier relationships and negotiate competitive pricing to support commercial decisions across the team.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years in an administrative and customer service/support role
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities, deadlines and accuracy
• Ability to retain information and build product knowledge base
• Confident, friendly and professional telephone manner with suppliers
• Ability to adapt to different personality types
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Hard working, conscientious with a positive approach and willingness to develop in the role

Responsibilities

• Manage bespoke and corporate pricing requests ensuring they are submitted, tracked and delivered within agreed SLAs
• Maintain clear visibility of all live tenders and their progress
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with supplier pricing and commercial teams
• Negotiate competitive pricing and commercially beneficial outcomes
• Support supplier engagement initiatives and ongoing relationship development
• Gather supplier feedback, market intelligence and pricing insights to support commercial decision making
• Support complex opportunities through pricing analysis and commercial recommendations
• Work collaboratively with Account Managers to maximise conversion opportunities
• Support the production of pricing comparisons, proposal packs and tender recommendations
• Monitor workloads and prioritise opportunities effectively
• Identify and implement improvements to tendering and pricing processes
• Contribute to projects that improve operational performance and broker experience
