Job summary

Sartorius seeks a Tender Specialist to drive commercial success across the United Kingdom, Ireland and the Nordics. You will coordinate tender activities from opportunity identification through submission and post-tender follow-up, partnering with Sales, Service, Finance, Legal and external partners.

You will review requirements and terms to ensure compliant, competitive submissions while maintaining tender pipelines and KPI reporting in a dynamic international environment.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in Tender Management, Bid Management, Sales Operations or a comparable commercial role within an international B2B environment.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, coordinate multiple stakeholders and meet challenging deadlines.
• Strong analytical, organisational and commercial skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret tender documentation, commercial requirements and contractual terms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, fluent in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• A structured, proactive and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to work effectively in an international environment.
• Knowledge of a Nordic language and experience with public procurement or government tenders would be an advantage.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, monitor and evaluate tender opportunities across multiple regions.
• Manage and coordinate the end-to-end tender process from qualification to submission and post-tender follow-up.
• Review tender requirements, specifications, terms and evaluation criteria for compliant submissions.
• Coordinate between Sales, Service, Finance, Legal, Customer Service and external partners to deliver documentation.
• Support bid/no-bid decisions by assessing opportunities, requirements, risks and commercial potential.
• Maintain tender pipelines, KPI reporting, win-rate analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
