The role

As a Commercial Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of a major nuclear decommissioning project, supporting high-value contract change activities with our end client.

Day-to-day, you’ll play a key role in identifying and mitigating risks, managing compensation events, and ensuring financial viability throughout the lifecycle of commercial quotes.

  • Supporting head contract change activities, including early warnings and compensation events
  • Reviewing and managing quotes to ensure financial viability
  • Guiding multi-disciplinary teams to mitigate future commercial risks
  • Applying NEC principles to ensure contractual compliance
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across the project to drive commercial success

This is a permanent role, working 37 hours per week, based at Warrington (Cheshire) or Bristol. Hybrid working patterns are available, with 2–3 days in the office.

Essential experience of the Commercial Specialist
  • Previous experience in a commercial role, with change management exposure
  • Proven ability to guide multi-disciplinary teams and mitigate commercial risks
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC principles
  • Experience working on regulated sites
  • Familiarity with NEC guidelines in a project environment
Qualifications for the Commercial Specialist
  • Relevant commercial or business qualification or equivalent experience
Security Clearance
