Job summary

Vospers Motor House Ltd in the South West of England is seeking a Commercial Service Advisor to join the Commercial Service department. You will provide a professional reception, ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and promote Vospers values.

Responsibilities include booking in vehicles, preparing cost estimates, monitoring workshop hours, producing job cards and invoices, explaining work to customers, and coordinating with Parts for availability, with on-site working hours Monday to

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within the motor industry is preferred.
• Standards-driven management style with attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal, administrative and organisational skills; computer literacy; valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Book in vehicles and schedule appointments.
• Identify customer requirements and provide accurate costing where possible.
• Monitor workshop hours to maximise sellable hours daily.
• Produce accurate job cards, invoices, estimates and related information.
• Explain work carried out to customers and upsell where appropriate.
• Prepare warranty job cards in line with manufacturer policies.
• Record all work requirements and classify as retail, warranty or non-chargeable repairs.
• Liaise with Parts to ensure availability of parts.
• Arrange collection/delivery of customer vehicles and courtesy cars.
• Ensure service books are stamped as confirmation of service carried out.
• Handle payments and ensure funds are banked promptly.
• Answer telephone and email inquiries promptly and courteously.
