Commercial Manager

A well-established international contractor delivering some of the UK's most advanced data centre developments is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial function on major live projects.

This is a senior role with full responsibility for commercial performance, subcontract strategy, and financial governance on high-value, technically complex schemes. As Commercial Manager, you will take full ownership of the project commercial lifecycle, working closely with project leadership to drive performance, manage risk, and protect margin.

Responsibilities

• Full commercial management of a data centre project
• Lead cost reporting, forecasting, and financial control
• Manage subcontract procurement, negotiations, and final accounts
• Oversee variations, change control, and contractual compliance
• Provide commercial input to project strategy and decision-making
• Mentor and manage QS and Assistant QS team members
• Interface with senior internal stakeholders and clients
