A leading global construction and engineering firm in the UK is seeking a Commercial Manager with expertise in contract management and procurement within the rail and infrastructure sectors. The successful candidate will manage commercial aspects of projects, ensure compliance with governance, and actively engage in supplier negotiations. You will need to have a degree and experience using NEC contracts. This role offers a hybrid work environment with flexibility for office presence.

We work in the transport and energy sectors, providing consultancy, engineering and operations services for clients such as major airports, governments, regulators, cities and rail and road operators.
With over 50 years of experience in the rail industry, we’ve delivered complex and challenging multidisciplinary projects all over the world. Our expertise extends to stations, depots, operations, maintenance analytics and asset management across all aspects of rail, including transport, technical and sustainability assessments and systems infrastructure.
The Commercial Manager will require knowledge and experience in pre and post contract management and procurement within commercial contract management in the rail and infrastructure sector.
You will be expected to utilise experience and knowledge of supplier relationships and contract management to drive efficiencies in the supply chain.
Working as part of projects and programmes to deliver the strategic aims of their designated portfolios.
The commercial manager shall be Educated to a degree standard in a related subject or Associate Member of a relevant professional institute with Chartered status.
This role can be based in London. You can expect to be working on a hybrid basis with up to 3 days a week in the office.
